RICKER RESTAURANTS: SERVING LONDON SINCE 1996
Arriving in London with a property background and no money but plenty of ambition and a firm vision, Australian-born Will Ricker set up his first restaurant, Cicada, in 1996. Two years later, in nearby Hoxton, Great Eastern Dining Room followed, and in 2001, in the heart of Notting Hill, e&o arrived to great critical acclaim. His success story continued with Eight Over Eight opening in Chelsea in 2003, and XO and XO to GO in Belsize Park in 2007.
La Bodega Negra- Ricker’s latest offering has been a huge success – collaboration between Will and nightlife impresario Serge Becker of La Esquina and The Box, and entrepreneur Ed Spencer Churchill, the Mexican has taken the London restaurant scene by storm. Ricker has won numerous awards for both his restaurants and his outstanding food, which have attracted a loyal following.
